Hospital Director

Jack began his veterinary career in 2009 as a Patient Care Assistant in his hometown of South Wales. Inspired by a passion for patient care and a commitment to clinical excellence, he progressed through the profession and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in 2014.

In 2016, Jack moved to London to pursue his ambition of working in Emergency and Critical Care, where he developed advanced nursing and clinical skills within a specialist referral environment. During this period, he achieved advanced qualifications in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing and graduated with distinction from his Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing (Top-Up) degree.

Jack subsequently joined a pioneering veterinary cardiothoracic surgery programme, playing a key role in coordinating a veterinary open-heart surgery service and supporting the delivery of some of the most advanced and innovative treatments available in veterinary medicine.

Alongside his clinical achievements, Jack developed a strong passion for leadership, team development, and service improvement. This led him to transition into senior leadership at London Vet Specialists, joining the hospital’s leadership team as Hospital Manager in 2022. Following a highly successful secondment as Acting Hospital Director 2025, Jack was later appointed Hospital Director in 2026, assuming responsibility for the hospital’s strategic direction, operational excellence, and people development.

Known for his collaborative, authentic, and people-focused leadership style, Jack believes that exceptional patient care is built on the foundation of engaged, empowered, and high-performing teams. He is committed to fostering a culture of trust, accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth, enabling colleagues to perform at their very best.

As Hospital Director, Jack’s vision is to create an environment where individuals can thrive, realise their full potential, and work together to deliver outstanding outcomes for patients, clients, and referring veterinary practices. Through investing in people and strengthening organisational performance, he remains focused on helping create A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS.
