At London Vet Specialists, we treat every patient that comes to us with care and compassion; and strive to make your journey with us as stress-free as possible. We are here to support you every step of the way.
Due to the codes governing our profession, we can only see patients that are referred to us by your primary care veterinarian. If your vet considers that your pet needs specialist help, they will contact us directly to make a referral after discussing this option with you. We can provide estimates of some costs as well as case discussions with your vet in advance of your referral.
Consultation appointments will be arranged directly with you following referral from your vet. The recommended next steps in your pet’s investigation and treatment will be discussed with our clinician during your consultation, as well as more detailed estimation of the costs associated. You will be kept informed of diagnostic results and your pet’s progress throughout their time with us and will receive instructions on their required care at discharge.
Your primary care vet will also be provided with an update on any diagnosis reached or treatment provided to ensure that we can continue to work together for your pet’s ongoing care.
