Our imaging suite contains an array of equipment to allow highly detailed investigation of diseases and to assist with imaging-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures:
Digital radiography
Our digital radiography technology is employed to capture high-quality images of bones, organs, and soft tissues, aiding in the diagnosis of various conditions.
Ultrasonography
Our top range Samsung RS-85 advanced ultrasonography machine allows our radiologists to visualise internal organs, blood vessels, and tissues in real time, facilitating the diagnosis of abdominal, thoracic, cardiac, and soft tissue disorders.
Computed tomography (CT) scanning
Our facility offers advanced 64-slice CT scanning capabilities, providing detailed cross-sectional images for the evaluation of complex anatomical structures and conditions.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
Our 1.5T high-field MRI scanner is utilised for neurological conditions, allowing us detailed views of the brain and spinal cord.
It can also be utilised for musculoskeletal and other body systems where appropriate.
The low-helium system means our MRI machine is also helping us be more sustainable in our mission to protect the planet.
C-arm Fluoroscopy
We utilise C-arm fluoroscopy for real-time imaging of moving internal structures, aiding in the diagnosis of dynamic conditions such as gastrointestinal motility disorders and respiratory abnormalities. It is also utilised in theatre for various orthopaedic, soft tissue and neurological procedures.
Endoscopy
We have a broad range of Storz rigid and flexible endoscopic equipment. An endoscope is a small camera mounted on a thin probe, used to look inside organs which could otherwise be very difficult to inspect. This equipment is used by our internal medicine team for investigation of airway, gastrointestinal and urinary diseases, and also by our dermatology team for ear investigations. Similar equipment is also used by our orthopaedics and soft tissue team for arthroscopies and minimally-invasive laparoscopic procedures.
