Patient Care Assistant
Sarah is a Patient Care Assistant who completed her Level 2 Animal Care and Level 3 Animal Management qualifications at Capel Manor College.
She previously worked in a 24-hour veterinary hospital, where she developed a strong interest in critical care, laboratory work and inpatient care. She particularly enjoys supporting patients during their hospital stay and assisting the clinical team to ensure each animal receives attentive, compassionate care. She takes pride in helping patients feel calm and comfortable, particularly those requiring longer hospital stays.
Sarah is keen to continue expanding her knowledge in areas such as post-operative care, anaesthesia support and laboratory work, and enjoys developing her skills within a clinical environment.
Outside of work, she has two dogs — one of which she rescued after he came into her previous hospital as a stray with a fractured leg, who is now fully healed and thriving. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling and going to the gym.
