Lydia Evans-Garcia

BSc RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Multi-Disciplinary)

Lydia qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2020, having studied Veterinary Nursing with Applied Animal Behaviour at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, where she earned her BSc.

Since graduating, Lydia has spent most of her career locuming across a variety of primary care clinics, which she's loved for the breadth of experience it's given her. Her real passion, though, lies in wards nursing and animal behaviour, with a strong focus on patient welfare and ensuring that every animal in her care has the most comfortable and stress-free experience possible. It was this shared philosophy that first drew her to London Vet Specialists - having locumed here during the summer of 2025, she was struck by the team's dedication to exceptional patient care, and knew she had found the right place to put down roots.

When she's not at work, you'll likely find Lydia somewhere in the world cheering on her partner at an ultra marathon or triathlon, or recharging with family in Valencia, Spain. She's also a big fan of live music and jumps at any chance to catch a concert.

At home, life is never dull with Captain and Leclerc around. Captain is her Parson Terrier - originally a dog-sitting charge who never quite left - and Leclerc is her rescue cat, named after Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc because he showed up at her former clinic on the exact day Leclerc won the Monaco Grand Prix, so couldn’t possibly be named anything else!
