Registered Veterinary Nurse (Multi-Disciplinary)

Lucy qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2021. Following this, she travelled to a few countries and volunteered with some veterinary programs; including a veterinary internship in South Africa and a sea turtle rehabilitation & rescue centre in the Maldives.

Luc then worked in a busy 24-hour hospital in central London, gaining varied nursing experience from working with orthopaedic vets, ECC nursing, nurse consultations and eventually managing the operating theatre team. She then completed a 6-month anaesthesia internship at a referral centre to help develop her knowledge and gain experience with anaesthesia being her main clinical interest, while completing a post graduate nursing certificate in anaesthesia as well.

Lucy absolutely loves anaesthesia and analgesia, but also enjoys many other aspects of nursing so is keen to develop further in a multi-disciplinary role.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys running with her friends, finding new spots for coffee and brunch and walking her and her partner’s rescue dog, Nina. She loves traveling and has a passion for conservation and learning about different species and habitats.
