Juan graduated with a Master of Science in Applied Biological Research from The Royal Veterinary College in 2023. He has previous experience volunteering in a rescue centre in Costa Rica and a local animal shelter in California.

He discovered an interest in parasitology and animal welfare when he moved to San Francisco in 2022 to undergo his placement year in pharmaceutical, where his research involved several diseases.

Juan is currently studying towards a degree in Veterinary Medicine and works with us on weekends.

Outside of work, Juan enjoys spending time in parks with friends and discovering new culinary delights around London. He also likes baking, reading and running. Back home, his family consists of 3 cats: Simba, Luke and Nelson.
