Christina Papaioannou

BSc(Hons) RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse (Multi-Disciplinary)

Christina is of Greek-English heritage, being born in the UK and spending most of her childhood growing up on the beautiful Greek island of Kos.

From a young age, she was surrounded by animals, including dogs, rabbits, hamsters, a tortoise and chickens, spending much of her time caring for stray cats and volunteering at a local rescue centre, which inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary nursing.

Christina studied at Middlesex University, in partnership with The College of Animal Welfare, graduating in 2025 with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Nursing.

After graduating, Christina worked in a busy 24-hour referral hospital in Athens, Greece, where she supported a wide range of complex emergency and referral cases. This experience strengthened her passion for veterinary nursing and her enjoyment of providing care for patients when they need it most.

Christina is eager to continue developing her skills across all areas, with a particular interest in surgical theatre assistance and internal medicine.

Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, spending time outdoors and visiting family, and has two much-loved dogs back home in Greece, Lucy, a German Shepherd, and Rosie, a crossbreed.

I am happy to help with speaking Greek.
