Kiki graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 with a duel degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Masters in Public Health (Thesis was on Hospital Acquired Infections). She then completed a rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City (2011-2012). From there Kiki moved to Los Angeles where she completed a Surgical Specialty Internship at Animal Specialty and Emergency Center (2012-2013). She was accepted into the 3 year combined Masters in Surgery and Surgical Residency program at Colorado State University in 2013. Upon completion Kiki moved to Chicago where she was a staff veterinary general surgery specialists until 2021 before moving with her family back to Colorado. She relocated with her husband, 3 small children, and 2 dogs to begin the Orthopedic Department here at London Veterinary Specialists in 2024.
Kiki became board certified in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2019. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary surgical specialization from training and collaboration to complex conditions like angular limb deformity correction. She loves that the field is always progressing and has a focus on MIS when appropriate, but also enjoys the puzzle of orthopedics that comes with fracture repair and the return to activities that come after Cruciate intervention.
