Cristóbal graduated from the University of Córdoba (Spain) in 2012. After graduation, he spent two years in a Mobile service of Ultrasonography in Málaga (Spain). Cristóbal decided to move to the UK in 2017 and worked mainly as an ultrasonographer in a first opinion practice in the South of England.
In 2018, he completed a rotating internship at North Downs Specialist Referrals, upon completion of which he extended his stay for a further year as a specific diagnostic imaging intern.
He then finished a second diagnostic internship at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh. In 2022, Cristóbal started his residency programme at NDSR and he moved to finalize his training in another referral centre in the south of England. He passed the board certifying examination of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2025.
His main areas of interest include abdominal and ocular ultrasonography, and all the imaging aspects of abdominal diseases.
