LucyMay has loved animals from a young age, and began her career working at the RSPCA in a patient care role, and was involved in community outreach and assisting and supporting with rescuing and rehabilitating stray animals.
Through this role, she gained valuable experience in handling and calming distressed animals and dedicated her time to delivering the highest standard of welfare. It also deepened LucyMay’s passion and empathy for helping animals in need.
LucyMay enjoys working at London Vet Specialists as the care that we can provide is so broad, covering a range of specialisms. Outside of work, she enjoys horse riding, volunteering for dog charities and raising funds for Battersea Animal Shelter.
She also enjoys spending time with her much loved Staffies who inspire her ongoing commitment to animal care.
