Andrew graduated from the University of Bristol in 2015, having developed a passion for anaesthesia during clinical rotations at vet school. In 2017, Andrew started his specialist anaesthesia and pain management training at The Royal Veterinary College, London.
Following this training he continued as a senior clinician at The RVC, gaining European specialist status in November 2021. Andrew worked at The Ralph Veterinary Referral Centre for two years prior to joining LVS, with one of those years as Head of the Anaesthesia and Analgesia service.
Andrew has particular interest and experience in managing critically ill patients (particularly those following trauma), as well as those with advanced respiratory and cardiac disease. He has published research in a number of areas, focussing mostly on ultrasound-guided locoregional anaesthesia. These skills allow for advanced management of both acute and chronic pain.
Outside of work Andrew enjoys exploring London and travelling, as well as sharing meals and spending quality with his boyfriend, friends and family. He is also a keen aquarist having built a bioactive paludarium, and a keen scuba diver.
