Kayuana completed a two-year Animal Management course at the City and Islington College in 2023, where she gained experience with various kinds of animals including livestock, domestic and exotic.

Kayuana has also volunteered with a non-profit organisation called SPECTO that focuses on protecting Leatherback turtles. This organisation is based on a small Caribbean Island called Grenada, where Kayuana grew up.

This helped develop her interest in rescue and rehabilitation, particularly hydrotherapy, as well as the behavioural patterns displayed by different animal species.

Kayuana enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends, whether going to the beach or hiking. She also loves listening to various genres of music, where her favourites include reggae, soul and R&B. Kayuana has always had a keen interest in travelling and experiencing different cultures.

Kayuana has a mixed breed dog called Destiny, who loves cuddles and exploring!
