Susanna Graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2012 and spent the two years following graduation working in a first opinion, small animal practice in Lancashire (near Blackpool.) She then returned to Glasgow Vet School where she completed a rotating internship followed by a Medicine Residency. Susanna went on to complete her Masters in Veterinary Medicine, which was based on a clinical trial that she ran at the vet school, being the first group to use Zycortal to treat Addison’s Disease in the UK.

Following this, Susanna moved to Surrey to work at North Downs Specialist Referrals (Linnaeus) in August 2019, from where she joined our team in 2024. Susanna is also involved in the teaching of medicine modules within the Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) and enjoys providing CPD to colleagues in first opinion practice.

Susanna’s areas of interest specifically focus on endocrinology, endoscopic procedures and teaching and mentoring interns.

Outside of work she enjoys running, going to the gym, weekend breaks with friends and being kept busy with her spaniel, Leia.
